Code of Conduct.

The standards every member, staff member, volunteer, and family agrees to uphold.

Our commitment.

Resistance Indoor is committed to a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for every performer, staff member, volunteer, and family. Participation is a privilege that depends on upholding these standards on the floor, in travel, and online.

What we expect.

  • Respect. Treat every member, instructor, volunteer, official, and competitor with dignity. Harassment, bullying, hazing, and discrimination of any kind are not tolerated.
  • Safety. Follow staff direction, venue rules, and travel and equipment safety procedures. Report unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Integrity. Be honest, be on time, and honor the attendance and member commitments outlined in your contract.
  • Substance-free participation. Alcohol, illegal drugs, and being under the influence at any Resistance activity are prohibited.
  • Online conduct. Represent the ensemble well on social media; do not post content that harasses others or harms the organization or its members.
  • Care for the program. Treat instruments, props, uniforms, vehicles, and rehearsal facilities as if they were your own.

Reporting a concern.

If you experience or witness a violation of this code -- including any concern for a member’s safety or wellbeing -- report it confidentially to reporting@resistanceindoor.org. Reports are reviewed by administrative leadership, and retaliation against anyone who reports in good faith is itself a violation.

This is the working Code of Conduct for the website. The signed member and staff agreements remain the operative policy; contact admin@resistanceindoor.org for the full document.
