Dr. Brian Stackhouse

Dr. Brian Stackhouse received his Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Arkansas Tech University, his Master of Music in Percussion Performance from the University of Arkansas, and his Doctorate in Percussion Performance from The University of Oklahoma. Brian is currently the Director of Athletic Bands at Oklahoma Baptist University, and has been instrumental in growing the marching program at OBU. Brian conducts clinics and master classes at various institutions from high schools to universities and including the Oklahoma Homeschool Bands program. He has written many marching percussion books beginning in his time at Arkansas Tech University and including various high schools as well as the University of Oklahoma and instructed drumlines at all three institutions he attended. Brian has been an active instructor at Arkansas Tech University and University of Arkansas Summer Band Camps and adjudicator at various competitions. Brian's passion is the marching arts and got his introduction to DCI as a snare drummer for Memphis Sound in 2004 and 2005. He was also a member of the DCI Honor Corps in 2005, which performed at Disney World.
