Stephen Whiting was born in McKinney, Tx where he attended McKinney North High School. He is currently in his final year of study at Oklahoma State University perusing a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Stephen has spent 9 years in the marching arts with three spent at the world class level. He performed with Genesis DBC 2022, Crossmen DBC 2023, and aged out with the Boston Crusaders in 2024. Stephen has previously taught at Perkins High School as a battery instructor from 2022-2024 and Stillwater High School in 2025.

In his free time Stephen likes to go rock climbing, providing private lessons, and honing in his craft as a percussionist. Aside from that he is looking forward to graduating in the spring and perusing a career in HVAC.
