Roxee Jo Boyd
Front Ensemble Technician
Roxee Jo Boyd is a dynamic percussionist and dedicated educator based out of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Currently pursuing a Master's in Percussion Performance at the University of Arkansas, she holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the same institution.
Before returning to full-time studies, Roxee honed her teaching skills as the Director of Percussion, Assistant Band Director, Middle School Music Teacher, and Middle School Select Choir Director for the Pea Ridge School District in Pea Ridge, Arkansas. She has been on staff with the Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps, Fayetteville High School, Siloam Springs High School, and the University of Arkansas Summer Band Camp.
Roxee has performed with numerous ensembles, including the University of Arkansas Wind Ensemble, the University of Arkansas Latin American Ensemble, the University of Arkansas Razorback Marching Band, the University of Arkansas Percussion Ensemble, Monarch Independent Percussion (2023), the Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps (2022), the Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps (2021), Resistance Indoor Percussion (2020), and the Zephyrus Drum and Bugle Corps (2019).
In her free time, Roxee enjoys word searches, hunting for the best gluten-free donut, and making jewelry out of metal clay.
