Mason was born and raised in Broken Arrow, OK where he performed with the award-winning marching band and indoor percussion programs. His independent performance experience includes Resistance Indoor Percussion (2017-2018, 2020) and the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps (2018). This will be Mason’s fifth year on staff with Resistance Indoor Percussion and third as Front Ensemble Coordinator. Mason currently resides in Norman, OK where he earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma with research interests in carbon nanomaterials and polymer composites.
