Justin Park, better known as JP, joined the staff of Resistance Indoor Percussion in the fall of 2013. Although an Oklahoman by birth, JP started his percussion studies in Fresno, C.A. in the Clovis West High percussion program. Receiving instruction from Jeff Lee, Dave Glyde, and Mike Atesalp, he was introduced to indoor percussion in 1992. Under the direction of Don Silva and Eric Melson, JP performed with the Sacramento Freelancers from 1998-2001 in the WGI Sport of the Arts Percussion circuit. JP was the Percussion Director for the Chandler High School Music Program from 2014-2023, and is currently a resident clinician for the OBU Bison Brigade Marching Band.
