Cy Curtis is a conductor, educator, and arranger currently attending the University of Arkansas to pursue a Masters degree in Instrumental Conducting. While Cy is getting his degree, he works as a Graduate Assistant for all University of Arkansas Bands. He achieved his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma in the Spring of 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Instrumental Music Education. 

Cy has played in many ensembles across the state while attending the University of Oklahoma. He was principal Euphonium for the University of Oklahoma Wind Symphony and Symphony Band, a member of the Oklahoma City Winds and Tulsa Winds, and was a member of Frontier Brass Band, the 2023 National Championship Brass Band group based out of Oklahoma City. 

This is Cy’s first season on the Resistance team and he looks forward to showing off some of the finest percussionists Oklahoma has to offer!
