Chase is returning to the front ensemble staff for his second season. He currently lives in Oklahoma City, OK and is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Jazz Studies. Chase is originally from Del City, OK where he performed with the award winning jazz ensembles from 2011 to 2014. His independent performance experience includes Resistance Indoor Percussion (2011, 2012, 2014, 2015) and the Blue Coats Drum and Bugle Corps (2016). 

Chase has been teaching for the last 9 years as a battery tech, front ensemble tech, and program director at schools such as Putnam City High School, Piedmont High School, and in short stints at Del City, Edmond Memorial, and Luther High School. Chase is currently the Assistant Band Director at Putnam City High School where he directs the jazz, concert, and percussion ensembles, and continues to perform for various types of groups on the side as a multi-instrumentalist.
