Austin lives in Norman Oklahoma and is pursuing his master’s degree in music performance at the University of Oklahoma. He teaches with the Pride of Oklahoma battery and front ensemble. He has teaching experience across Oklahoma including Westmoore, Southmoore, Purcell, Norman, Altus, and Ponca City.

His marching experience includes five years with the University of Oklahoma drumline, as well as marching with Resistance Indoor Percussion in 2018 and Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps in 2020 and 2021.
