Alyssa Wirtz is a music educator based in Atoka, Oklahoma. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree with a concentration in Instrumental Music from Oral Roberts University, where she studied under Christy Foster. While attending ORU she performed with the ORU Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Orchestra, Clarinet Choir, the OkMEA Intercollegiate Band and the Assembleia de Deus Sobradinho orchestra in Sobradinho, Brazil.

Alyssa is currently serving as the Assistant Director of Bands at Atoka High School, and McCall Middle School, the Guitar Director at Atoka High School, and the McCall Middle School 6th Grade Choir Director for Atoka Public Schools. Prior to teaching at Atoka, Alyssa served as the Band Director and Music Teacher at Geronimo Public Schools.

In addition to the work she does at Atoka Public Schools, Alyssa serves as an audio staff member for Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps. Locally, she serves as an audio staff member for McAlester Theatre, The Revolution, and McAlester High School musical theatre programs.
